Try Scouts out for FREE before joining

Scouts are boys and girls aged between between ten years and 14 and years old. They belong to the oldest Section in the 1st Foots Cray Scout Group. Young people usually  move up from the Cubs between their tenth and eleventh birthday. New members may join directly if they are at least ten years old. When they reach 14 they can then move on from the 1st Foots Cray Scout Troop to become an Explorer Scout.

Scouts enjoy a host of activities, including sailing, canoeing, cooking on camp fires, planning and participating in other adventurous activities, as well as helping others. We meet on Friday nights at the scout hut in Rectory Lane, Sidcup, Kent between 6.30 and 8.30pm.

We currently have vacancies in the 1st Foots Cray Scout Troop so, if you are thinking of joining, why not come along to to the scout hut and join us on a Friday evening to experience for yourself what we do or contact scouts@footscrayscouts.org.uk for further information.
