Cub Scouts are boys and girls usually aged between between eight years and ten years six months. They belong to the second Section in the Scouting family. Young people can move up from the Beavers in the six months leading up to their eighth birthday or join directly if they are at least eight. They can move up to the next Section, Scouts, when they are ten.

Easily recognised by their distinctive coloured scarf and woggle, Cub Scouts enjoy a host of fun activities, including playing new games, assault courses, archery, water sports, building fires, camping, going on visits and helping others. We meet on a Thursday at the scout hut in Rectory Lane, Sidcup in the London Borough of Bexley between 6.00-7.30pm.

We currently have vacancies in the 1st Foots Cray Scouts Cub Pack. If you are interested in joining, then please do come along to one of our sessions at the scout hut in Sidcup on a Thursday evening or contact cubs@footscrayscouts.org.uk
