What an incredible weekend for 1st Foots Cray Scout Group
Our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers all came together to take part in the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) Royal British Legion’s Great Tommy Sleepout (https://rbve.org.uk/events/the-great-tommy-sleep-out/) .
With overnight outside temperatures dropping to a chilly 2°C, everyone showed real resilience and team spirit. The weekend was packed with activities – from campfires and wide games to soft archery and tomahawks, plus some back-to-basics knife and axe skills. It was fantastic to see everyone getting stuck in, supporting each other, and embracing the adventure.
We’re also proud to share that, as a Group, we have raised an amazing £1,771 so far for this amazing good causeA huge well done to all our young people and volunteers, and a big thank you to everyone who has supported and donated. You’ve helped make a real difference!
